Buitenplaats Brienenoord is a private initiative in with municipal support that has created a place for itself on an island in the Maas in South Rotterdam. Imagination is the starting point in the programs of Buitenplaats Brienenoord and always revolve around future thinking and future action. This results in a multitude of expressions, with, for example:

• Education in the field of nature and culture for both primary and secondary schools.
• Programming around the issues of the future, focusing on expressions such as theater performances, interdisciplinary evenings, art research and collaborations with art students from all kinds of disciplines.
