Children in Permaculture is an international project that brings together children, educators and professional trainers from different countries and organisations (Czech Republic, UK, Romania, Slovenia and Italy). The main aim of the project is to improve children’s education, to inspire each other, to share and synthesize ideas and experiences from different backgrounds. The goal is then for people to live in harmony with each other and with nature and for all children to have access to an education based on the ethical principles of Care for the Earth, Care for People and Fair Share. Another effort is to bring about a change in civic consciousness in which people and natural resources are no longer taken for granted and exploited without considering the long-term impacts. Encouraging children to develop empathetic relationships with each other and the natural environment from early childhood is a key step in shaping this new awareness. CiP provides consultancy services and offers high quality courses for educators and trainers across Europe.
