The Network for children’s rights is a non-profit association formed by parents, educators, writers, designers, reporters, artists and others that aims to defend the children’ s rights as they appear in the Convention of the UN, in 1989. A network of solidarity that uses the power of knowledge and culture in order to improve the quality of children’s life, in a world where children of any nationality, gender, religion and language can grow healthy and happy, where their opinion is heard and their rights are respected. Through specific educational and pedagogical programs, creative collective activities, actions of formal and non-formal education,as well as psychosocial actions and legal support, the Network develops initiatives and interventions in order to promote in practice the awareness of children’s rights, in public spaces, inside refugee’s camps and schools, promoting solidarity, cooperation,volunteerism, networking and socialization giving children the opportunity to speak and to be heard.
